Not impressed with this latest storm. Granted that one squall line did role through Seattle and Everett, where's the flippin' wind? I was expecting winds in excess of 40 mph...I think the highest gust I've seen today is about 20 mph.

And we've seen very little rain...besides the squall line. I was expecting alot more from what NWS and local meteorologists were saying last night. Good to see the mountain passes are getting their winter snow...in SPRING.

Tomorrow and most of Thursday look nice...Friday and the weekend look wet...but warmer which doesn't fair well for the mountains. Next week remains similar to this week.

I think I'm ready for a little sun/warmer weather now. The active weather has been nice, but I'm already missing the sunny conditions.

Now we need that line of heavy rain to move south about 30 more miles and we will be right in the thick of things!

Anthony... what are you talking about????

Snoqualmie Pass has had 16+ inches of snow TODAY alone!! And 30+ inches since the weekend.

Thunder, lightning, hail, incredible mountain snow.

And it was damn windy around town today. I went across the I-90 bridge at lunch and was getting splashed by waves while the bridge itself was rocking back and forth.

Not exactly sure what you are looking for?? Maybe you were rain-shadowed today... but as a whole Western Washington is getting hammered!!

Snoqualmie Pass had 4 inches of snow on the ground just 5 days ago. They now have 31 inches and climbing.

Steven Pass had 26 inches of snow on the ground 5 days ago... they now have 48 inches and climbing.

Mt. Baker had 29 inches of snow on the ground 5 days ago... they now have 65 inches and climbing.

You are calling this a small pattern change????

Heavy hail / sleet / and wet snow now here in North Bend.

In fact... everything falling from the sky is frozen right now. No rain.

The ground and street is turning white.

Tim....you need to get a camera so you can show us your weather! We love hearing about it, but also good if you can show what your weather is like.

Snoqualmie Pass getting absolutely slammed right now.

Still have all kinds of frozen precipitation right now here in North Bend.

Just saw a KING5 traffic report with a helicopter over Issaquah and it looked like winter there with the ground and roads covered with hail and sleet.

Viewing this evenings 18Z GFS....should see a short break in the rain tomorrow, but by Thursday and into early next week, look for another round of cool, very showery and unsettled weather as we have some fairly wet systems coming onshore about every day or so. -- Andy

No... its your standard 35mm type. You have take the film someplace to get developed.

I believe that northern interior will get a small windstorm tonight. The wind speed will be 50-70 km/h. I remember this morning we only got very light wind like 5 km/h. The wind is getting stronger right now.

It seems you always luck out when it comes to frozen precip TT.

I just wish you had a digital camera to capture all of this activity.

W13 - its not luck... its location.

If I lived close to Seattle it would be luck. I am at an elevation of 900 feet right up against the Cascades.

Have you guys checked out the Snoqualmie Pass camera before it gets too dark??

After the convection died down here the frozen precipitation has turned back into a moderate rain.

We are at 1.50 inches of rain for the day and now 6.01 inches for the week.

Predicting 5 inches turns out to be conservative!!
