Hurricane Hunter will visit Puerto Rico on March 18

#1 Postby cycloneye » Tue Feb 22, 2005 5:44 pm

It was just announced this evening by the director of the NWS office and Univision that the Hurricane Hunter tour of 2005 will have a stop at San Juan Isla Grande Airport. Max Mayfield will come here as he did last year.I will go to see it again as I did last year and it is an experience that is very interesting and educational to see all the instruments that they have to collect all the data when they go to the missions.

If I was going to be here, I would seriously consider coming over to PR for the day.
I will be in NYC then though for a week unfortunately.

Ok well you will make a trip on those days but to the big apple. :)

Maybe in the next few years the NHC makes plans for the hurricane Hunter tour to stop at ST Marteen. And if that happens I will visit that island. :)
