Tropical depression right here....

Hey y'all! Hard to believe it's almost THAT season again. I need the diversion.

A prayer or two would be most appreciated right now. My husband had a heart attack on New Year's Day, but is doing pretty well after some time in the hospital.

Then Saturday, he was in a skirmish with a horse and the horse won :roll: . Now he's in a leg cast for maybe up to two months! Not even a walking cast -- no weight allowed on his broken foot. He won't be doing battle in our Civil War re-enactment in two weeks.

Bear with me, just venting a bit and I'll be happy to be posting regularly real soon with my S2K friends.

man, 2005 is not starting good for him, is it?
ok, here's the deal. you got all the bad stuff out of the way now.
the rest of the year has to be a breeze!
And I sure hope it is a gentle healing breeze for you both for the rest of the year

Thanks for the kind words y'all. We surely appreciate it. Husband has bright green cast on his leg. We're CSA re-enactors and the only other choices at the time were "blue," white or pink! Doctor was out of Confederate Grey :( :roll:

He might go as a wounded infantryman :wink: At any rate, we'll be fine with friends like you on S2K.

tonight mike even has the talkin tropics show at 8:30 - it has been great lately - helping put us all in gear for the fast approaching season!
