Hurricane nicknames

#1 Postby HurricaneBill » Tue Feb 01, 2005 1:13 am

I think it's cool how some hurricanes have nicknames.

Hurricane Donna was nicknamed "Deadly Donna".

Hurricane Inez was nicknamed "The Crazy One".

Lenny was nicknamed "El Zorito".

Ivan will be probably be nicknamed "Ivan the Terrible".

Here's some that I came up with:

"Awful Audrey"

"Killer Camille"

"Ferocious Frederic"

"Amazing Allen"

"Erratic Elena"

"Gilbert the Giant"

"Mighty Mitch"

"Flooding Floyd"

"Mean Jeanne"

The hurricanes leave nickname sites also. There is a place called 'Mount Charley' in Charlotte county. It's a pile of debris that has been growing each day since the hurricane and looks like a mountain now... a mountain in Florida! LOL...

I beg to differ!

I was in the weaker side of Bob and well inland, and boring is not the word I'd use to describe Bob!
