Conferece

#2 Postby hurricanetrack » Mon Jan 31, 2005 3:27 pm

Yes- I will be there for the 7th year in a row.

I am speaking this time at a workshop about chasing hurricanes- either for the media, science or as a freelance chaser. Famed CNN reporter Jeff Flock will speak with me as will veteran chaser Jim Edds. His footage from Charley is absolutely astounding. We all will discuss the hazards and payoffs of purposefully going in to harm's way.

I believe that others from this board will attend the conference as well. It will be awesome to say the least.

We'll be exhibiting there and I'm organizing one of the private industry workshops. See you there again, Mark.

It is only a little over an hour drive from my house. I would love to go. But, there is no way I can afford the $350 to attend. Plus, I will probably have to work that day anyway.
