Need some hurricane info for my daughter

Can anyone here give me some good websites for my fifth grader to visit, she has a powerpoint presentation to do on Hurricanes! Looking for good info, but not over her head. Thanks.

Thank you both very much. The sites for kids were a little too basic, not enough information for what she needed. She is the kind of kid that needs the whole story when she does something!

We got lots of great information from your link BarometerBob. She will review it tomorrow and if we have any questions we will post them probably tomorrow night. Thank you again, you have been very helpful.

If she wants info or photos on past hurricanes, a good site is http://www.tropmet.com

The gallery section also has links to other sites with satellite images of hurricanes.
