We're suppose to get down to the mid-twenties here in Lakeland. That's very hard to grasp since the high today reached 64 and it is now 48.
The tropical plants are either covered with sheets (FL-cracker snow), brought inside, or in the "survival of the fittest" category. For the sake of the FL agriculture industry, I hope the low temperatures don't pan out.
