Texas Winter= Cancel!?!?!?
What the heck happened? After the Christmas to remember down here I thought we might be in for a cold or cooler than normal 2-3 months with brief warmups. We have been 5-10 degrees above normal since last Tuesday! I spent the last week in shorts at home and the AC on at night. URRRGH!!!
. Suppose to be saving money this time of year on that sort of stuff.

Hey ... no griping from you Corpus, at least you got a white Christmas!!
(just kidding)
There are rumors afoot that the pattern may change at mid month bringing us some winter again. But I'm with you, this spring-like weather stinks. We will get enough of that later. Give us some winter please!

No kidding. With this strong and humid southeast wind off the guld, it feels like April minus the upper 80 temps. Still stinks with upper 70 or low 80 temps.

Well, a brief cool down for Thursday and Friday - Thursday's low and high in the 40's and Friday's low in the 40's and high in the 50's, then right back to lows in the 60's and highs in the 70's.
40's and 50's aren't exactly BRRRR COLD, but better than 70's in January!
I'm ready for the BRRRR COLD and a shot for me some snow!
Edit: I forgot to mention rain likely for the next several days as well...oh boy! My mud slop yard continues. I think I'm actually "creating" quicksand.

Had to call out the a/c repairmen today!
Don't complain until you've been in my shoes today. I had to call the air conditioning repairman out today and we had to have extensive repairs IN JANUARY mind you. The first couple of repairmen that I called couldn't get out for a couple of days due to the unseasonably busy air conditioning repairs they are having. The last guy who finally made it said that they have NEVER recorded so many a/c repairs & replacements in the month of January since he's been in business for several years.
