That would be so neat to be in a cat4, or 5 storm.

Neat until a piece of sheet metal flies into your face.

Even if you know a lot about hurricanes, that doesn't mean you understand them.

They stood in the outside hallway of the courthouse when they taped Charley. Chris looked right into the eye of Charley. I know alot and understand hurricanes. I talk sceintific talk with Dr. Landsea, Richard pasch, and Miles Lawrence all the time. I talk to Landsea about the intensity of storms and how I think they under estimate teh intensity of alot of storms. Such as Ivan as Ivan was close to cat4 at landfall. I talk to them ona weekly basis. I've also talked to Joe bastardi many times.

he is a dead giveaway. He doesnt even try to hide his identity. And what annoys me is that he is banned here, yet, he is not man enough to accept this, instead he uses proxys and alternate e-mails just to keep posting.

btw, he doesn't know what scientific talk is. He doesn't even know what one single momentum equation is

I do. I use synoptic patterns, and teleconnections to forecast storms days out. I leanred alot from JB and thats how I was accurate so far out with Charley. You can learn alot from synoptic patterns.

Greatpain.....er I mean Greatone, I'll try explaining this to you although I know it's useless to.

I know a lot about hurricanes. Hurricanes are a hobby of mine. Yet, does that make mean I'm able to forecast hurricanes? No.

Does that mean I'm an expert on hurricanes? No.

You may know a lot about hurricanes, but that does not make you an expert on them. You may talk to experts, but that does not make you an expert either. They had to study long and hard to become the experts they are. I talk to somebody who is a good cartoonist. I like to draw. But even though I talk to this guy, my artwork hasn't improved much.

Stormchasing may be neat, but it is also dangerous. Those stormchasers are professionals who know what they are doing.
Hurricanes are not like rollercoasters. Watching hurricane footage and experiencing a Category 4 or 5 hurricane are completely different things.

Yes it is a GO sighting and EWRC can no longer post here.

Signs that Greatone is posting:

Post has many grammar and spelling errors.

The word "assanine" is used. (If he thinks using it makes him look intelligent, it ain't.)

Posts about Stephanie Abrams and how cute she is.

Brags that he talks to people like Chris Landsea and Joe Bastardi.

He's usually anti-NHC, anti-Storm2k, and anti-Barometer Bob. Of course this depends on which forum he is posting on. (He's raised being a hypocrite to an art form)

Often claims a hurricane was far more intense than reported. If someone (for example, Derek Ortt) says otherwise, Greatone will start his "Well, I talked to so and so and he said....."

Says how cool it would be to stand in a Category 5 hurricane.
