LOOKS VERY INTERESTING!

LOW IS REALLY STARTING TO FORM. Seems further west than what the models were suggesting.. AND LOOK AT THAT TENDENCY!!.

It means there is a strong potential for a Texas-type snowfall somewhere in SE AL/GA/SC. Meaning someone could get buried.

Since the low is forming already. We have to look at the surface pressure tendency. And that gives us an idea as to where the low is going.

this is correct, just as an upper trough will move in the direction of the greatest height falls and a ridge will move in the direction of the greatest height rises.

Does this mean you may change your forecast? Up here, after reading the models... (watching the new 18z ETA roll in) and seeing the new LWX AFD... am saying that a POSS SNOWSTORM is POSS IF IF IF things come together right, but unlikely...

I like doing amateur forecasts.. so I have a mention of snow late Sun-early Mon with accums 1-2" right now along and E of I95 here.. that is MY forecast for now... :D :eek:

Yoda, sounds like a pretty good call. Here in Fredericksburg thinking is the same 1-2 inches of snow. Trends need to be watched as amounts could increase dramatically on the western forcing edge. We are currently 28.9 degrees going down to 18 tonight.
