Finally finished my hurricane water!

#1 Postby The Big Dog » Mon Nov 29, 2004 1:25 pm

I finished off the last of my hurricane drinking water last night! Only took two months.

Technically, what's in the 2 1/2 gallon refillable jug in the fridge is hurricane water, but I always have cold water in the fridge, so I'm not counting that, nor am I counting the few bottles that I will finish off at work.

Woo-hoo!

I still have 14 gallons left over. I had 28 at one point, 7 each for me and the boys, and I bought a couple of extra boxes at Publix in case I needed to help some friends out afterwards.

Interesting that the hurricane beer didn't last nearly as long (just kidding).

I actually had hurricane beer, that went faster than the water.

Yep, the beer only lasted 2 days into the power outage. Fortunately we were able to secure more quickly!

I had a crazy amount of soda. It didn't last through the 6 days without power because of Frances.
