Low in atlantic exposed with little convection near center
This morning the first visible pics show an exposed center with little in the way of convection only on the east side.It has to gain convection around that center and then we are talking about Otto.

Yes, it reminds me of Ana in 2003 satellite-wise. However, the system is still quite impressive and is VERY close to being classified (probably a subtropical storm as is). We just need ONE more convective burst near the center and WALLA..... Otto.
The window of opportunity is closing in unless it (unexpectedly) misses the trough...

Yes that trough is getting closer to the low and then rip.But it has a large circulation overall impressive that extends very far from the center.Let's see if the bursts come.

Still this afternoon the center is exposed and no big bursts of convection haved occured so no change from this morning as shear is impacting the system causing the convection to be displaced to the east of the low.

Yeah. I think most likely this will not become anything more than it is now. But who knows?
