The 2004 hurricane season may be over but dont go away
I haved noticed that some members are saying goodbye because the hurricane season is ending. The season may be over but dont go away because of that reason as storm2k has many forums that the members can post and in those there are more weather forums such as the winter forum and the US Weather Watch forum where you may want to participate. Also in this Hurricane Hollow forum always it will be active because around the world there is always tropical activity. And also members can post about how ENSO is doing, the sst's in the atlantic, your 2005 forecast, about Dr Grays forecasts and about many more themes.

I'm not going anywhere. I'll still be around(especially on Off-Topic and Political).

Look what is happening now in the caribbean and already some folks are gone until next season. This proves that in the tropics you never know what will happen as in many times surprises come even on the off season and the best example was the Brazil hurricane in March and many more events in the off season that had occured. So as I am saying in this thread stick around storm2k all year around as you will never know what surprise you may find not only in this Hurricane Hollow forum but in the other weather forums.

Officially not over until november 30th but contrary to other seasons when there haved been late season systems like last year this 2004 season has been capped by a weak el nino. But my friend the purpose of this sticky thread is to tell the members to not abandon storm2k until june 1 and I hope that you dont go because we have more weather forums and more than that as I said in above post the Hurricane Hollow forum will always be active as the tropics never go to sleep because in any given time a tropical cyclone forms around the world.

Dont forget the US Weatherwatch forum where you can post about the local weather in your area or about severe weather that may go there.

We had the hurricane shows, we are also planning on doing shows when a major severe weather event is taking place.
So stay tuned for more information!
Yes Bob the shows are all year around so tune in every thursday night at 9 PM EST to hear a great show every and this is another reason for you to stay at storm2k all year around.

By only looking at this forum how active it is even if there is nothing out there to talk about that is why you must not abandon storm2k until next season. Now that the reports about all the 2004 systems are comming out,Dr Grays verification report,Action in the WPAC etc are themes that you can talk about in the off-season and this is an example of why you have to stick around all year long even in the off-season.And also you can start to talk about what the 2005 season may look like. And of course we have all thursday nights at 9 PM the Barometer Bob show regardless it is hurricane season or not as he touches themes about the US weather at winter and spring when the severe season starts.

Right now there are 2 cyclones in the tropics and that is a reason why this forum never sleeps or close like in other boards that close the tropical forums at off-season.
