South Florida Gathering Plans

Boca and I (BocaGirl) Have set up the first ever South Florida Storm 2K post season gathering. Come and join us at Khaki's on Saturday November 13 at 4:00 for some great conversation, a video or two and a chance to meet your fellow Storm 2Ker's in person.

Khaki's is located at 7036 W Palmetto Park Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33433 and is close to I-95 and Florida's Turnpike.

chances are not looking good for me to be able to make it unfortunately.

We have a RAINEX meeting coming up next week at RSMAS (its a new large experiment that is going on involving recon missions) and I may have to get some things done for that. I'll make it if I am able to; however, unfortunately, it is not looking likely at the present time.

Wish I could join ya but it would be about 16 hrs on the road for me :(

Definately take pictures. Maybe they will have an internet cafe set up and I could join ya virtually :)

Bad news everyone:

I cannot make it tomorrow. I have to make some new plots tomorrow for the RAINEX meeting starting this Monday and some of the plots are taking considerable time (3D G-IV dropsonde wind profiles for Isabel, color coded based upon the RH values at a given height)
