Memorable Tropical Round Table moments..

#1 Postby Anonymous » Sat Oct 23, 2004 9:38 am

Go ahead and put the favorite moments, or lines, or shows that stick out to you. The one that sticks out for me was the Hurricane Charley show. Zack's computer was broke, Mike Watkins was away, Steve had to do stuff, Chad, Marshall, and Bob were away. I was the only one here. But I did it, and I said the famous line: "and the eye is definitley inland, it's made landfall as a category 4 hurricane, I can't believe it."

Also, once I cracked a corny joke in teamspeak, and Mike Watkins said, "Ok Floydbuster, before I kick you, can you run the streams?" LOL

Got to be TexasSam's remark of the Alert Mode Siren. With joy he said, "HaHa, I think that siren is on it's last leg because it was so bad"

Still cracks me up today.

Another one would be when Jevo and Mike Watkins were going through Frances. When one would lose power the other one would laugh at him for losing power then he would lose power.

I enjoyed DT's ways of expressing his points and his opinion of some of the other forecaster's predictions with which he often disagreed.

By the way, has anyone heard from him. It appears he has totally dropped out of the Storm2K forums. Did someone "lick the red off of his candy or something...........?"

Thanks for an enjoyable and very informative season.
