Storm north of Bermuda

#1 Postby PurdueWx80 » Fri Oct 22, 2004 10:40 am

This looks to have a chance at subtropical development. While there is some shot of tropical (hybrid) development over a longer period of time, I think the trough in the NW Atlantic will be too strong to allow this to have a pure tropical nature. Still, I think it may be named within the next few days. Either way, it will cause some problems between Bermuda and the Canadian maritimes. The coastal flooding and/or beach erosion may occur all the way to the Mid-Atlantic and New England coastline as well.

EDIT - sorry mods, didn't see the other post similar to this. Please feel free to erase it if necessary! Thanks. :)

I voted not either too..This will just be a moderately strong northern latitudes low pressure system..I wouldn't want to be on a ship passing through it though.
