Well, I would really hate to burst your bubble, but!

The N Amer GFS keeps this in the Carib, and shows nothing moving north across the Straits at this time. Even if the NHC mentioned it, doesn't mean development is likely or unlikely.
Remember, long term forecasts are 90% off target, and this may be another one of those storms that the models develop, and never materializes!
Like the Tropical system near the Cape Verdes last week Floydbuster!! Remember that one? I don't, all I remember are all the IM's I got about it!!

LOL I remember! Lets start to turn are attention to WINTER! I think it is unlikely this will form but if it does expect it to be the last... With the lack of troughs dropping into the GOM with a persistent Ridge in the East don't expect many if any chances of development from the tail end of a trough in the GOM.
