i wonder if he has reached the Pacific yet? and where is Ma_on?

The last I saw on Ma-On was it was falling apart as it approached Alaska.

As for Karl, he dissipated a several days ago over the Kara Sea (north of the Ural Mountains of Russia).

It was a typhoon that struck Japan. It was the ninth cyclone to hit Japan this year, breaking the old record of six in one season.
