Besides our featured tropical cyclones, we're monitoring a few invest systems.

Invest 97L
33.0N 33.3W (540mi WSW of Ponta Delgada, Azores)
35 mph; 1005 mb / 29.68”
Dvorak estimates: Too weak
This system is moving SSW at 10-15mph. Convection is well away from the center, but this area has the potential for subtropical development as it moves toward warmer waters.

Invest 91E
13.3N 105.1W (405mi S of Manzanillo, Mexico)
30 mph; 1008 mb / 29.77”
Dvorak estimates: 1.0/1.0
This system is near stationary and is interacting with TD 15E. As this interaction occurs, the probability for development is limited.

Invest 96W
26.1N 131.7E (230mi E of Okinawa, Japan)
15 mph; 1006 mb / 29.71”
Dvorak estimates: Too weak
Convection associated with this wave has fallen apart and the well-defined circulation, although void of convection, has also weakened. The JTWC has dropped this area of concern, but NRL maintains its invest status on it.

Invest 98W
33.0N 33.3W (310mi WNW of Majuro, Marshall Islands)
15 mph; 1008 mb / 29.77”
Dvorak estimates: Too weak
Although somewhat sheared, this wave is fairly hearty on infrared imagery as it moves westward. If convection begins to consolidate, the potential for development may be raised. However, at this time, the JTWC does not mention this area in the outlook bulletin.

Invest 97B
33.0N 33.3W (540mi WSW of Yangon, Myanmar)
15 mph; 1006 mb / 29.71”
Dvorak estimates: Too weak
Some weak convection is associated with this system. The possibility for development is there, but somewhat limited due to 97B’s proximity to land. This invest is also not monitored by the JTWC’s outlook bulletin. No additional data was found from the IMD, either.

Go to http://www.nrlmry.navy.mil/tc_pages/tc_home.html for the latest satellite imagery.
