First time poster, long time lurker. I have no special weather skils to add so I do not take up space by posting. I am an avid follower of Storm2k and believe in what you all are doing. I am 74 years old and have been through a few hurricanes including Betsy. I live in Metairie LA, a suburb of New Orleans and my family and I stayed for Ivan. I weighed the choice very heavily and decided to take the chance rather than suffer the inconvenience and cost of leaving. I do live in a well built brick home with a two story addition. The Storm2k site kept me informed minute by minute. I felt that I was getting the best information available. If the tract changed I was ready to leave at the last minute and get out of the bowl. I do not recommend this action for others but it worked for me. I chose right on this one and hope the next one works out as well.

Once more, here is a thank you for the tireless effort the Storm2k staff and all of the members put out.

Thank you Bob Peyton

Thank you for all your hard work to keep us informed. I am a SC native who lived in Myrtle Beach during Hugo. I now live in South Florida with my family in SC and boyfriend working for a SC company in the Dominican Republic. I can't tell you how much you all mean to me. You are greatly appreciated.

I'm one of those who is hesitant to use paypal or credit cards in general.
Could you possibly incorporate an "address" and "make checks payable to:" into your support Storm2K info? I suggest a PO Box if you don't want to be inundated at home.

Thanks for a great site.
