Floydbuster's 3rd Matthew forecast...

Tropical Storm Matthew Forecast # 3
Mike "Floydbuster" Naso
Saturday October 9, 2004 5pm
DISCLAIMER: USE NHC for OFFICAL INFO

Matthew has made a comback and is once again a 40 mph tropical storm with lowest pressure so far of 997 mb.

It should move north, but I expect it to be a little farther to the east than the NHC track. Eastern Louisiana landfall.

I expect Matthew to do something outside of my 12 and 24 hour points. I expect Matthew to weaken to 35 mph, a depression in the next 6 hours or so. Then, I expect him to be a tropical storm again as he makes landfall on the Louisiana coast.

12 HRS-- 28.9 N-- 90.2 W-- 35 kt
24 HRS-- 31.4 N-- 89.2 W-- 20 kt (INLAND)

Good forecast but I have to say that is the funkiest drawing of Louisiana I've ever seen on a map!

Floydbuster...I hope your forcast pans out. (More east)This would put us in less of the heavy rain bans. I live in New Orleans. Cind52

Proably a trip up 95 to 10 then north on 75 to north of Atlanta is not going to be rain free on Sunday Oct 10. Correct ?? but passable if taken slow and easy ??Comments appreciated

Ha! That map has Houston about 100miles too far west. Good work though, Floydbuster.

Floydbuster did you notice Matthew is already passed forcasted track. How much further do you think he'll go before he turns.
