Looks pretty pathetic if it is..maybe a outflow boundry blowout.. The whole LL pattern on the western edge does not to impressive..Although the sun angle is getting low and were loosing definition..

Nope that is not the eye. The eye is way in the western end of the storm. The eye is exposed.

Oh that's not good. Oh well than if that's the case then I really think Matthew looks very sick. But we all know things
can change quickly.

not sure what "hole" you are referring to, but the center is just west of the new convection developing in that loop... an easy way to find the center on that image is to look at the bottom of the image where the numbers are across the bottom... find the number 21 and go due north from that... the center is almost even with the number 9 on the left hand side where the omit frames buttons are......

Eyes don't form in tropical storms; maximum sustained winds of 39 to 73 miles per hour.

I wish hurricanes could develop 2 eyes. Then they would like incredibly freaky :roll:
