Think about it.
The Atlantic tropics have been "off" the past few weeks since Jeanne hit Haiti and Central Florida.
Mark said green means "go", right? And that
So if you take green to mean "go", then that means...
come on...
that things may possibly heat up again in the Atlantic.
Unless I am misinterpreting his post then this is what he is getting at.

MJO is the madden-julian oscillation which is a perturbation in the tropics, sort of a mid-level trough which circles the globe in the tropics on a period of roughly 30-50 days. it has been proposed that its appearance in the atlantic basin tends to coincide with a spike in TC formation. it was last in our basin in late aug/early sept.....wish i could find the tutuorial link....rich
