If Mathew is to form in the Gulf and Landfalls on the Al/FL. Panhandle it would be the 4th named Storm after Ivan and nearly where he came ashore, whereas Jeanne was also the 4th named Storm after Frances and came ashore nearly the same location along the FL. east coast.
Also, you would have had two female named storms on the east Coast and two male named storms on the AL/ FL. Panhandle.
Stange possibility indeed!

I did state as the first word "If". Several models, including the GFS do eventually swing it ENE toward Florida, but nothing is writtne in stone yet, so my reasoning for the word..."IF"!
