Looks like a 30-35 mph depression. not bad for a new-born. Not bad at all.

being based out of the tropics, and assuming the system is not upper level low, which its not(water vapor) I believe it has a 50/50 chance of a depression or a weak ts. Westerlies are stronger in the northern gom than down there were heavy convection is.

This one has ALOT more convection with it (storm or not) than Ivan Jr. had with it. Looks like one heck of a soaker to me.
