The Burning Season Begins

#1 Postby azsnowman » Tue Apr 08, 2003 11:44 am

Well, here we go folks, yet another KILLER Fire Season is waiting in the wings. All that snow we had did NOTHING for the drought, the fire season, NOTHING! All it did was promote rapid growth of weeds and grasses that will make this fire season the WORST in recorded history! I do KNOW ONE THING, we ARE NOT going to evacuate this year, we are staying put, I never want to leave my home again! Heres a link about the drought and forecast fire season.

I know you have pledged you won't leave AZ - just be prepared and stay safe. The same situation goes for us down here on the Gulf Coast with hurricanes.

Lets hope the people learned lessons from last years fires and are more careful - probably not - but we can only hope.
