I remember when those "god" billboards first went up in Central FL. I'd forgotten about them. Guess "he" did forget.

That has happened to many bilboards arround the state. Most have old ad's underneath. It seems to be easier and faster to use the covering type then to repaint them for new ad's.

Orlando had sustained wind near 75 mph and gusts just over 100 mph.

Believe it. I'm not sure what you're laughing at but Orlando actually had winds during Charley sustained at 77 and gusting to 105. I know it may be hard for you to believe that some 100 miles inland we could get that much, frankly all of Orlando was caught by surprise, but believe me ,sitting in my hallway listening to all the things crashing around outside and then seeing all the damage that was grossly under-reported in the state and national media, (probably due to the Chamber of Commerce and Disney) I believed it! I guess maybe Miami is feeling a little left out.

Also forgot to mention that metro Orlando was buffeted with 69 mph gusts during Frances and 78 mph during Jeanne. That kind of wind has taken its toll on our trees. Unfortunately the beautiful tree canopy that we had has been thinned considerable.

Someone in Flordia brought a whole bunch of bad luck with them, either that or the Devil went down in Georgia and took a trip to Disney World after.

Orlando International recorded a gust of 78 mph during Jeanne. It was 69 during Frances.
