Still Concerned

#1 Postby MWatkins » Fri Sep 24, 2004 11:38 am

Looking at the latest visible imagery it looks like we may have a much larger eye popping out from the cloud cover. If this verifies...there is some concern that the hurricane has been moving forward a little faster tham previous estimates. Recon will be in by 2PM to check. There is time to react but there are all sorts of implications for a faster track at this time as opposed to 12 hours from now.

I have to leave in 15 mins or so and will not be back for a while...but I am concerned that the eye we have been following is rotating around the back side of a larger circulation center.

That big gulp of dry air she ingested appears to be reforming her new eye. That's a heck of an efficient way to mix it out.
