I'm right there wit cha' Hugo Vet! Sitting here debating whether to pack up AGAIN and head out of dodge.

One forecast I see says landfall at West Palm. Sorry for them, but hey, they haven't yet had the experience like the rest of Florida! We'll still feel it, but I won't leave if it's that far away... whew!

Say what?! West Palm hasn't had the experience?? Did you happen to notice where Frances landed? How you can even consider that West Palm hasn't "had the experience" like the rest of Florida is completely appalling.

You obviously know nothing about Frances!! Tell that to the roofer who can't get my roof back on before Jeanne gets here. Tell that to those of us who huddled for 36 hours listening to the winds!!

Well, all I can say is I willnot board up or evacuate for Ivan again!!

You guys in FL be careful and take the right precautions. I don't regret boarding up and evacuating Ivan one bit. If landfall had been 80 miles West, I'd be without power, etc.

Palm Beach has experienced it - Broward, Dade, and Monroe (priamrily the latter 2) are the ones who've escaped fairly well so far. I know we haven't gotten anything more than a brief shower and a little wind from all of these....
