Big Eye Emerging?

If you run the TPC site satellite loop you'll see the present eye has a curl cutting into an even bigger Frances-like eye forming outside it. This could be an eyewall replacement prior to another pulse up. If so a big eye will emerge...

I see what you are talking about Sanibel, but with the lack of robust convection, its hard to say if its just a dry spot or not.

No, its last image was also at 0331Z.. It feels the shadow as well, but it is a great water vapor loop :D

Looks straight west. We'll see what emerges as an eye. Jeanne was swiss-cheesed by dry air...

This particular loop shows a pretty sizeable decrease in convection.

This big eye that is now apparent in the core was visible last night.

I'm concerned that people will take it as a benign big eye like Frances' and it will blow out into a dangerous donut this time...

Norcorss on Ch. 4 in MIA said that is just dry air, and the eye is south of that.

It WAS a dry air inclusion, but it helped to dissipate the tight innner eyewall and it is becoming the new large eye. Jeanne has all she needs to become yet another major to strike Florida.
