Wasn't the wave that merged with Lisa 94L and Ivan 93L?

94L was what became Ivan again. 93L merged with Lisa.

My correction 94L is for that new batch in the gulf as if you put your mouse over the image on the NRL site it says the system is at 26.4N 88.8W 1010mb and 25kts.

They just haven't taken 94L off the list for some reason. 93L is still on the list as well and that shouldn't be there either.

Edit - Ok maybe not. Surely this would be 95L rather than still 94L?

Matthew go to the NRL site click on 94L and put your mouse over the image and read the pressure and location of it and it is for the thunderstorms in the central gulf.

How can it be any thing else because 94L was Ivan before they named it?

Actually they decided not to have made that it was IVAN in the GULF not a Seperate Disturbance so they decided that 94L could be used again because there never really was a diffrent system just 90L which used to be IVAN. So there fore this is a new system in the gulf. Could it develop. Well no body knows.

Statement earlier today re: this

#20 Postby duris » Thu Sep 23, 2004 7:06 pm

I can't find it today, but earlier today the New Orleans/Baton Rouge NWS issued a flash flood warning expiring at 4:30 for SE LA that said something about thunderstorms coming off the Yucatan peninsula that could bring us heavy rain that was not associated with Ivan. Perhaps that was this?
