I don't see any model even coming close to hitting Fl or anywhere on the east coast.

Them models to me seem pretty worthless at the moment. I never seen anything like them. I mean i cant see how the NHC can even make a projected track out of them models.

Yeah, I'm not putting any stock in the models right now. They haven't been so great all season this far out, and they certainly aren't doing well with Jeanne right now....

This is a very interesting development. Oh boy this hurricane season has been the most frustrating one I have ever went through.

The one thing I feel certain is that whatever happens from this point forward, Jeanne will NOT be a fish. She'll either die (rest in peace) or hit somewhere along the east coast between FL and NC. IMHO

Jeanne is apparently a lungfish, as it has already hit land. :D

This forecast is incredibly complex ... for man or machine. Jeanne is barely alive, so she could completely fall apart. She will likely get drawn NW and maybe N a bit due to that trailing trough coming out of Ivan's remnants and the fact he's weakening the W end of the SW Atlantic ridge. But in the next few days, a massive high pressure ridge will rebuild over Ivan and Jeanne, probably shoving both back W. In short, there are so many moving parts, as opposed to a clear-cut forecast (i.e. CV storm moves W under the Atlantic ridge, meets trough, gets curved out to sea ... like Karl)

Me? I'm not even going to try to forecast this one any more. I thought FL would get hit ... but that was before Jeanne got put on life support by Hispaniola. Now, who the heck knows what she'll do?
