Arial photos of Gulf Shores damage

Click on the link at the top for arial photos of Gulf Shores and Orange beach. This looks like the worst damage of the storm, this is where you would have found the 130 mph winds.

When the damage really gets bad...the sand goes over the road (oh, you didn't know that was a road? around 2:15) That is Pensacola Beach, FYI
Or so I am told, and is what I also thought having spent the better part of my growing up years there

About a third of these structures will have to be destroyed and rebuilt--they are no longer on their foundations. Some of the highrises faired will with only broken windows and some of the exterior peeled off....
