one night to remember
I'm a Deputy Sheriff in Franklin County,FL. I was working a road block on state rd 300 that leads to St. George Island,FL when all those tornadoes started. I have to say, it was the most scared I've been in a while. I saw three large waterspouts/ tornadoes all behind one another over Apalachicola Bay about 100 yards apart, and they were flying, I've never seen anything like it. It seemed like every cloud could produce one. Having said all that, we only expierenced moderate winds, sustained at one time at 65, with one gust reported at 91mph. Our friends to our west I'm sure caught it with lanfall close to there. God bless those families in Panama City, and Blountstown who lost family members due to all these tornadoes.

Dare I ask when you have been more frightened?
Thanks for all your hard work to keep people safe! Prayers & blessings to all the victims of this and all the storms this year. It has been harrowing, to say the least.
