Jeanne NNW on latest sat loop

#1 Postby Ground_Zero_92 » Thu Sep 16, 2004 1:50 pm

I hate wobble-casting (LOL) but Jeanne just took a significant jog to the NNW. She's staying quite alive.

Hey, doesn't this concern anyone? We had Ivan, who was afraid of land to the point of dancing anytime he came near. Now we have Jeanne, who loves land, being sure to smash every bit of land she comes near, while somehow holding together. :ggreen:

She's holding together very well. When it's gets back over water it could spell real trouble for the Bahamas. Looks like the DR and Puerto Rico aren't having much fun right now either.

Nor are the Virgin Islands. They're getting pounded with rain. Watch for reports of flooding.

I don't know that Ivan was AFRAID of landing, I think he just wanted to be a little bit more selective as to who he affected, he wanted to SCARE us by his unpredictability. HAH, its great how we turn a storm into something that has thoughts and emotions..lol

What you are looking at is an optical illusion. As the center rotates you see changes in the eyes cloud patter which gives the look of NNW however, she is moving w or slightly N of due W. I have her on radar and it's pretty much W.

For what I have been seeing for the last few frames of the WV loop that Jeanne is going NW. She didn't like land. We'll see if it lasts
