Just a guess, but unless Jeanne starts moving more north of west than she has been doing, Hispaniola may tear her up. It's possible we may have seen her at her strongest. She could be little more than a wave by the time she emerges. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Im thinking Cat 1 at most if she stays on her current path. If she heads out of Hispaniola a Cat 3 might be possible.

SHIPS intensity model brings her to 108 mph sustained winds in 72 hours.

That's nearly Cat 3 (only 3 mph short)...

I say Cat 4...look what happened with Ivan, unfortunatly history does repeat itself and my bones tell me cat 4 :(

Don't forget all the predictions had Charley at a CAT 2 then bam! he was a CAT 4 in no time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
