Major damage in South Alabama

#1 Postby ALhurricane » Thu Sep 16, 2004 9:25 am

Watching live video coverage. The Spanish Cove community of South Baldwin County (just west of Pensacola) has suffered major damage. Some homes destroyed and some with severe roof damage. Cars also flipped upside down.

Now let me here people say this "wasn't bad". Well, I am not even going to start on those comments..

I'm hearing a lot of bad report- a quarter-mile section of the interstate 10 bridge either gone completely or damaged. Large parts of Gulf Shores, AL underwater. Certain neighborhoods wiped away.

I want to hear about the hard hit places. It seems like all I am hearing on the major cable news channels is Mobile.
