Winds are 72 mph, with a gust of 90 Mph

Can you please tell me where you got this data? Is there data from a station available online?

I just saw something similar about the windspeed there on MSNBC. Some crazy guy holed up in a 'hurricane proof' house on the island - a news guy and his crew and the house's owner. Has a hand held windspeed monitor.

Download weatherbug, its easy. I would post a link, but I dont know how yet. Neat Site!!! Its live also, but right now its hanging, just keep clicking the temp icon on the bottom of youre screen, Hope this helps!!

Yep Pensacola NAS is showing 70 sustained with gusts to 83mph.

Need to download a spyware blocker from PCworld.com, thats easy also. I wouldnt have downloaded myself without a blocker. I was just trying to show people how to be informed!!! No need to be nasty tonite!!!

I'm thinking an anomaly?!!! 272 knots?!?! Of course, I guess it could have been a tornado/waterspout but the data was reported as such for ~18 hrs.
