That would be Marianna, FL just west of Tallahassee on I-10.

Probably a trailer park where old and poor people lived cheaply...
so now the landowner can make $$$ by selling the land to a developer
who will make $$$ by building expensive condos.

Marianna's about 100 miles inland. Something of an economically deperssed rural area where land and housing is cheap.

State park there has Florida's only cave system.

There's another tornado reportedly on the ground there now.

Long day ahead tomorrow I'm afraid.

Real nice commentary about mobil homes guys.

I agree they are not the safest places. But people live where they can live.

The National Weather Service now reports heavy damage to the trailer park, at least 5 injuries and reports some residents are unaccounted for.

The Panama City stations were reporting heavy damage in the Marianna area. Also calling in extra corrections officers despite the storm because of damage to the federal prison in the area.

Am still with power, but we've been getting lots of flickers so unplugged the laptop for a while. I so don't want to replace the motherboard/ethernet port again.

Pensacola civice center generators working. only thing lit up in downtown pensacola
