Recon hasn't been in the storm in almost 4 hours, so i wouldn't use that to back up what's going on inside the storm.

the 933 report may be 4 hours old....but they are using 931 data.....either way.....on sat the storm looks no stronger now than 4 hours ago....and in fact doesnt look as good as 4 hours ago...

What difference would it make? Anyone dumb enough to still be in their house in the path of this thing isn't going anywhere any time soon -- it's too late to leave. That's why the local government calls them "mandatory" evacs -- because there is a good chance you will DIE if you stick around. I know your nerves are frayed at a time like this, but the NHS posted hurricane warnings YESTERDAY. Hurricane warning + mandatory evac means GET OUT, not "wait until it's a Cat 5 and the rain is coming in sideways before considering leaving."

Yeah its much to late to evacuate. People don't really need to know the exact wind velocity. This is a big mother of a storm and they are doing what their doing regardless of windspeed or category.
