Aftermath Convoy Ready in Tallahassee

#1 Postby GulfHills » Wed Sep 15, 2004 5:38 pm

Passed by Leon County Civic Center (Tallahassee) on my way home from work, and saw an impressive convoy of approximately 4500 troops and numberous vehicles, locked, loaded, and ready for help after the storm passes.

God bless these exhausted dedicated workers! I flash my lights, honk, and wave everytime I see a convoy these days.

I just thanked them. My power went out @ 4:15. They just finished clearing the downed tree from the line. These guys are in my prayers given the dangers of doing this work.

Speaking of prayers: All MS, AL, FL residents are definitely in them.

Hopefully the power won't go out again, because that 1.5 hrs w/o
Storm2k caused me to start going through withdrawls.

Let God protect all who are in harms way tonight.
