Sure does look like it! Weren't they expecting her to hit more on the SW part of the island??? Will be interesting to watch her progress from here....

yeah hopefully it doesnt survive but if it does this could mean no land interaction with hispanola.

I'm writing from central PR, and conditions are getting worse by the minute. No power, no water, and wind is gusting. We probably had a 40 mph gust a couple of minutes ago.

Luis is in Santurce. No problem with surge there. SE PR looks like it got a landfall CAT 1 to me. Sure there is alot of damage there some people live right on the Caribbean

I have famili that lives in Mayaguez, about 10 miles south of Rincon and I talked to them and thay say right now its raining but the wind have yet to get strong there. They will get it in a few hours though.

Looks like the eye (or whats left of it) is going more northward than anticipated and will be getting near to our friend Luis before emerging on the north/northwest side PR. Hope all is well.

looks like PR is getting slammed right now. "Train wreck" in the gulf and a "car wreck" in the carib.
