AS noted by at least one other post, what may be good for one may be bad for another. My prayer is that no matter what happens, "please Lord prepare each one for your Holy Spirit to minister to them. Let them be prepared for any future event by surrendering themselves to you. Please protect those that know you as well as those that don't. Let each of us accept our lives and appreciate your love and compassion in all we do. If possible Lord, have this storm weaken and limit the damage that may be caused. We accept your will Lord and understand that whatever happens, it could be worse. "

The Word
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power and of love and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7
All like minded believers should pray that our Lord, who spoke to the waves and calmed them, would reduce the power and affect of Hurricane Ivan. After all, someone who can move mountains can move a hurricane. Prayer works. God always hears our prayers and always answers them according to his will
I would ask those feeling inclined to do so join together today at one time 3 pm eastern time and lift our voices to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and ask him to protect the people in Ivan's path.
In his name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I seem to be praying this prayer liturgy ALOT this year! May the Lord protect and preserve all who are in Ivan's path and weaken the storm. With thoughts and prayers for all in danger,

God, may your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven.
I sometimes wonder why ,in a world that you created, hurricanes must form and threaten the lives and property of people. Honestly Lord, it is not exactly the ideal example of the wonderful water cycle, that you created, that we would like to see. But we also know that you have your own ways.
We now ask that while this storm approaches, you extend your hand of protection over all human life in harms way. Secondarilly we ask that possesions, especially possesions with sentimental value, be protected as well.
Finally Lord, we thank you for your grace and mercy that you deliver to us during every breathe we take.

Amen, FLAgirl, Amen....because I know there are people still in the evacuation zone.
