Bands expanding further NW into La. A more

NNW track I don't believe would be having this type of banding features this far in to LA. Last position only moved Ivan 2/10ths of a degree to the west and this does not jive with that course. Of course this is just my opinion based on sat. observation. Recon will probrably say its moving north. ( not putting them down) just don't understand visual vs. recon data.

Center is ner 26.0 N and 87.8W based on NRL satelitte pic. STill NNW.
ALSO, every model turns this due north between 88.0W, and 88.5W, so once it passes 88.5 you may have a case. Also, with no Recon fixes, and only one sattelite pic in three hours you cannot judge recent trends.

MobileBay - If you are correct concerning the current fix at 26.0N and 87.8W that would mean that Ivan has traveled .4 degrees north and .6 degrees west. I totally agree with that analysis.
Mobile is 88.15W so as you say, that is a pretty important point for Ivan to pass if he is going to have a greater impact to the west.
