Eclipse just ended..sure looks like
the movement is more west. Of course I thought that before the 1am advisory. Guess my eyes are going. What are your thoughts?

I can't agree with you on a NW movement, his heading has held strong (yes, a bit of a more westward component than earlier this evening, but that is to be expected with a hurricane - shifts back and forth)
However, I don't see him abruptly changing this course to a due north course anytime soon. There is no slow bend to the north right now at all. Also, take into account his eye is pretty much due south of mobile bay at the moment.
I can't ignore how tightly the models are clustered, it makes me want to trust them completely. However, I also can't ignore his current (and established) heading over the last several hours.
