Looks like the buoy may have failed already. The last report is over 2 hours old. :-(

Try refreshing the page Marshall. :) Looks like it just updated ... now says 9:50 CDT, 71.9 kt gust.

Buoy 42003 reporting 35 feet seas right now. It could eventually break
the record for the highest wave height measured by a ndbc buoy in
the Gulf (40 feet at 42041 of the la coast---Hur lili).

why are the pressures rising at station 42003?

Pressure Tendency (PTDY): +0.02 in ( Rising )

Does that mean the air pressure is rising?

Shouldn't it be falling?

We are 350 miles from Ivan and our winds are picking up in gusts.

Feels like a steady solid airflow up to 20 knots...
