I think wwltv.com will be live tomorrow, Garrett. You and I both -- trying and hoping to somehow stay tuned in with those closest to the news as it happens (especially since I can't watch TWC or FoxNews at work). :)

Verizon seems to be trying to help people who are impacted by Ivan stay connected-- at least by cell phone.

See article (press release?) from Oregon:

Sorr for the lengthy link!

Thanks Shawn... the national networks just can't cover it like the local stations can.

Well, I've relocated about 200 miles inland. Glad to finally be here after it took us 7 hours for a trip that normally takes 3 1/2 to 4! I-65 was a parking lot at times! But we're here.

As for streaming video/audio: Before we lost the Mobile radio stations, I heard there would be online streaming audio at http://www.newsradio710.com. Also, it appears http://www.wpmi.com, Mobile's NBC affiliate in Mobile, may be streaming as their website has a streaming test link up. I think I heard they'd be going to continuous news in the morning.

We're in Auburn---War Eagle!!

I could've kissed the ground when we finally got here. I really wanted them to make I-65 Northbound on both sides. The state workers were out there at the barrels and crossovers, but they never did. I'm not sure why not....

Too cool. Auburn is only about 20 miles SW of here. Go there often.
