I'm feeling comfortable here, and I'd like to pin down the forward speed particularly, but for once, there's absolutely no question about the impending trough--well unless it stalls.

JB was hinting that it could be a Texas strom. So i guess anywhere from a being a fish to being a Texas storm is a sure bet.

It may very well track south of Puerto Rico into Hispaniola which would be the end of Jeannie. However, I truly believe that this one will track toward Florida and into the Gulf.

As we have seen with Ivan (and most of the other tropical systems this year), any track/intensity prediction beyond 72 hrs is ... at best, a good guess.

But yeah ... that would be a very large cone. A waffle cone?!
