Interstate 55 (southbound?) from Laplace to 1-12 will be closed so that residents of St Tammany Parish can evacuate.

Living in St. Tammany Parish, I would not take I-55 South bound from I-12 to evacuate....that would make me going South towards New Orleans
and the massive traffic jam of I-10 West. Perhaps you meant I--55 South from I-10 to I-12 so that residents of Orleans, Jefferson, St. Charles, St. Bernard, Plaq, will be able to evauate North.
