I'll be here for the duration. I won't do much but loaf, sleep and surf if I have power. My brother is an FSU grad btw, so the Noles are held in high regard by all my family. Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.
I could be way off base but if it pans out like I think, I had a rough idea about 5 days ago what was going to happen. I'm expecting "Georges-ish" conditions in N.O. with some strong gusty winds, little rainfall and lots of power outages due to tree limbs taking out power lines and transformers blowing. But I really think the threat is east of me. Whether it's Henderson Point, Biloxi, Mobile or Pensacola (and possibly all those places), those east of a landfalling cat 3 from the S or SSW are in for it. Let's just hope the storm is moving > 12k when it makes landfall.
